Take a look at this great set of April spreads from Danelle! She’s the one who inspired me to try the bee and honeycomb layout so I thought it super appropriate to add her to my inspiring spreads section. Her bees are way cuter than mine (I struggled with making them look too much like wasps…).
April Cover Page/Illustration
Love this cover page! The bees are so much happier than mine, and it’s probably because of those pastel flowers. She had a stencil to work with for the honeycombs, but if you don’t have a stencil, I have a great blog article about how to draw a hexagon.
April Monthly Spread
Danelle used some color pencils here as well as some stickers to bring in a lot of color! I really like the beehive, and now wish I had on on my April Spread too.
April Weekly Spread
Definitely, wish I had this much room on my weekly spread. Horizontal boxes for each day gives you a lot more room to write out tasks. The tiny washi tape on the bottom of the spread is also a cute touch. This is a quick and easy layout too, so you don’t have to spend hours drawing honeycombs.
Bonus: Check out her clover mood tracker!
This is a great example of a mood tracker. I tried mood tracking but I had a hard time remembering to color in my tracker. Obviously, this was not an issue for Danelle!
